I’m seeing plenty of new growth around my house these days - lots of new buds and flowers. It has been a long, cold winter for us, but all the new growth is encouraging and refreshing. Growth is essential in nature and it is vital in our lives in many ways. God wants us to grow and mature in our faith. 18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 3:18. We are expected and commanded to grow!
How can we grow and mature in our faith? We must choose to grow! Mature in our understanding and appreciation for the grace God has shown us in Jesus Christ. Commit to learning more about what it means to follow Him. 2 Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, 1 Peter 2:2. Feast on the Word of God.
