When God is on the Move

I hope you had a wonderful Independence Day celebration! We really do live in an amazing country. Though this nation is far from perfect, because it is made up of imperfect people, we are blessed to call it home. We celebrate enormous freedom in this great nation, including the right to worship and honor our God. While we may lament plenty that is wrong in America, we can trust and see that God is still active and on the move here.

God was on the move in the early Church too. In Acts 10-11, we see Him open wide the door to His very own family, welcoming all people from all nations, through faith in Jesus Christ. Though there were some Jewish converts who had a hard time believing that God would open the door to Gentiles too, they would soon get on board and see many more come to faith in Christ.

How is God moving in your life and in the life of your church? How do we respond when we clearly see God on the move? Maybe you haven't thought much about that… maybe you don’t think you have much to offer God or wonder if He really needs your help. Maybe you want to be a part of His work, you just don’t know what to do.
