In March 2024, Watermark Church began partnering with missionaries Errol and Igraima Zimmerman through Children's Relief International (CRI) in Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic. Together, they serve impoverished Dominican and Haitian children and families by meeting both physical and spiritual needs in the name of Jesus Christ. Through Christian education, nutrition programs, discipleship, and community outreach, CRI brings hope to some of the world's most vulnerable communities while equipping God's people to live lives of compassion and generosity.

Since the partnership began, Watermark has sent multiple mission teams to serve alongside the Zimmermans at the Institute of Christian Education and Formation (IFEC). The ministry includes a Christian preschool, after-school tutoring, discipleship training for teachers and ministry leaders, and outreach to Dominican and Haitian families. The IFEC center is a place where God's light and grace shine brightly, offering hope, education, and the love of Christ in the midst of difficult circumstances.

In March 2025, with the support of a Watermark mission team, the Zimmermans launched Light & Grace Bible Church, a church that primarily ministers to Haitian families in the La Joya community near the tutoring center. Watching this new church take root has been a powerful reminder of how God uses faithful partnerships to transform lives and expand His Kingdom.

As the ministry continued to grow, Watermark became the Sending Church for Light & Grace Ministries, providing 70% of the Zimmermans' financial support. This partnership allows Errol and Igraima to continue faithfully serving their community while knowing they have a church family committed to praying for them, encouraging them, and investing in the work God is doing through their ministry.

As God continues to open doors, Watermark remains committed to this ministry by sending mission teams twice each year, supporting the Zimmermans through prayer and financial partnership, and sharing the hope of the Gospel. Together, we are making an impression and leaving a mark for Jesus Christ, not only in our community, but to the ends of the earth.
