Give Thanks!

4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. Psalm 100:4

We have so much for which to give thanks! Have you given much thought to that? Take a moment right now to consider what in your life is worth giving thanks to God.

When you consider the many blessings in your life, it will make you smile. Maybe you struggle a little to give thanks… many people do. I think our minds tend toward the things in life that cause us to not be so thankful. You know what I’m talking about because your mind goes there more than you would like. Maybe that is why the Apostle Paul reminds us:

16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Will you give thanks… in all circumstances? Even the circumstances of life that may not be so great?

God today for Jesus Christ! Thank Jesus for offering you salvation by His work on the cross. Thank God for the forgiveness He offers you in Christ!
