A man was raised from the dead...
and we celebrate with bunnies and candy. How crazy is that?! Even crazier, that same power - the power of God - is a part of every person who places their faith in Jesus (through the Holy Spirit). Are we tapping into that power?
Is there evidence of God's power in Jesus' followers today? Or have we forgotten God's power and settled for relying only on our own power.
If we have God's power, we are free from the penalty of sin - death - we will live forever with God. We have been set free from the power of sin - we don't have to sin anymore - our spirit can trump our nature. We are free from fear, and we are free from failure - God can take our worst mistake and turn it into His best moment.
It's time to experience the power of God! If you were guaranteed not to fail, what's the one thing you would do? What is the Holy Spirit urging you to do?
Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind where was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire.
